By entering the Challenge, you agree for your personal information to be used to administer and update you on the Challenge. Your personal information will not be shared with any other third parties beyond the Challenge itself without your consent, or as required by law.

We will only use your contact details to perform the following:

1) Your contact details will be used during the Challenge to send you email updates promoting the Challenge, reminding you to encourage your friends and colleagues to sign up to the Challenge and updating you on overall Challenge progress. For Challenges where Sustrans is not the main Challenge partner, Sustrans will share your contact details with the main Challenge partner to enable them to contact you using these updates. Your data will be shared securely using Sustrans password protected secure filesharing site. You will be given the option to opt out of these emails with every email which is sent out.

2) If you choose to sign up to a team you agree for your name and contact email to be shared with the person listed as the team co-ordinator if requested by the team co-ordinator. This is usually the person who initially registered the team. Your details will be shared for the purpose of enabling the team co-ordinator to identify who has joined the team and to enable them to communicate with the team. Your contact details will not be shared between teams.

3) You agree that after the Challenge Sustrans and the main Challenge partner can contact you promote their organisation or project. You will be able to opt out of subsequent emails following this contact.

4) After the Challenge Sustrans may contact you to request that you complete a post-Challenge survey to enable Sustrans to calculate the overall benefits of the Challenge.

We undertake to take all due care with any information which you may provide to us when accessing our website. However we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you may provide to us. Information you transmit to us is entirely at your own risk although we undertake to take reasonable steps to preserve such information in a secure manner.

Personal Information

Personal information about visitors to our site is collected only when knowingly and voluntarily submitted. For example, we may need to collect such information to provide you with further services or to answer or forward any requests or enquiries. Registration

Registration is completely optional. Registration may include submitting your name, email address, address, telephone numbers, option on receiving updates and promotional material and other information. You may access this information at any time by logging in and going to your account.

Purpose: These cookies aid in the logging-in process and identify a logged in user to the website in order to allow use of the various features that require a user to be logged in and associated with a specific identity.
